About us
A safe, supervised and welcoming place for young people in Chard.
Who we are
The Hive Young People’s Centre is run by The Chard Area Youth Committee, a community-focused organisation supporting young people in Chard and the surrounding area.
We provide a safe, supervised and welcoming environment where young people can socialise, take part in activities, build confidence and access support when they need it.
Our mission
- To support young people’s physical and mental wellbeing
- To build confidence, connection and personal development
- To reduce barriers to opportunity
- To give young people a voice in shaping the services that affect them
The Hive is guided by a dedicated team and committee, working with local partners to provide strong, inclusive youth services in Chard. We are committed to equality, inclusion and creating a welcoming environment for all young people.
